System of a Down Ultimate Drum Sheet Music Collection

System of a Down Ultimate Drum Sheet Music Collection – six of John Dolmayan’s drum parts from Toxicity, Mezmerize and Hypnotize, transcribed note-for-note. System Of A Down songs switch suddenly between fast, heavy sections and quiet, melodic ones, so these parts are a great workout for speed, control and dynamics.

About System Of A Down

System Of A Down formed in Los Angeles in 1994. The four members – Serj Tankian, Daron Malakian, Shavo Odadjian and John Dolmayan – are all of Armenian descent, and their music mixes metal with Armenian folk melodies, political lyrics and sudden changes of mood and tempo.

Toxicity (2001) went to number one in the US, as did both halves of the 2005 double album Mezmerize and Hypnotize. Their songs are a great challenge for drummers because they switch so often between fast, heavy and quiet sections.
