About Audioslave
Audioslave formed in 2001 when Chris Cornell of Soundgarden joined Tom Morello, Tim Commerford and Brad Wilk of Rage Against The Machine. Their self-titled debut album (2002) went triple platinum in the US and was followed by Out of Exile and Revelations.
The band combined Rage’s heavy grooves with Cornell’s powerful voice and melodic songwriting. For drummers, Audioslave songs are great lessons in playing heavy with space and feel.
