Rage Against The Machine formed in Los Angeles in 1991, with Zack de la Rocha, Tom Morello, Tim Commerford and Brad Wilk. Combining heavy riffs, hip-hop vocals and politically charged lyrics, their 1992 debut album became a landmark of ’90s rock, followed by Evil Empire and The Battle of Los Angeles.
